Everything is centered around music and sound in my life. That’s why I am active in the “Maschinenklang”-DJ/Event-Team (MyspaceLink). We host club parties for modern dark electronic and industrial music. Here we acquire different bands from all over europe to play live gigs on stage as well as cooperate with other DJ’s of the music scene. Of course we don’t miss the chance to get behind the mixer to push the parties to their limits - exhaust them and make them happy! That’s our goal. We live for the music…

I try to get into recording studios as often as I can. Recording and mixing music is an exciting process. Working with the musicians and bringing mixes to a pre mastering quality might be hard work but it is fun. I like to sit together with musicians, listening to their ideas and trying to create tracks out of ideas. In the mix it is very important to think of frequency domains of different instruments and how to separate them so that every instrument can stand out in it’s place. Synthesizer created the problem that they already sound phenomenal as a sole instrument but adding them together to a complete song can cause a lot of problems as to many instruments play together in the same frequency bands. Thus I have to separate them by applying equalizers or by editing their appearance in the track. This is a very cool process and a lot of fun.
